Riverfront Wedding at Brix on the Fox | Allie + Brendan

Allie and Brendan's wedding at the Brix on the Fox in Carpentersville Illinois was filled with so many sweet and intimate details specific to their love for one another. Whether it was the ice cream truck at dinner or letting their young nephew make a speech on their behalf, their day was so sweet and full of love.

Getting Ready

Allie wanted to make sure to have some photos of her getting ready with all her girls the morning of her wedding so they all took their time at a Carpentersville hotel wearing matching robes and putting the final touches on their wedding day looks ! Allie’s robe matched the feel of her wedding day look which was so much fun ! She also decided to wear converse with her wedding look as well. Brendan spent his morning getting ready with his groomsmen having a blast joking around as they all prepped for their wedding day at Brix on the Fox.

Their Wedding Ceremony at the Brix on the Fox

Allie and Brenden chose the Brix on Fox because it is one of the best all in one wedding venues in the Chicago suburbs. They were able to take almost all of their photos there and could host their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Brix on Fox. For their ceremony, they had a beautiful wedding day arch filled with dried flowers and dusty pink roses. Brix on the Fox has such a gorgeous space for a ceremony with beautiful brick walls and a ton of natural light to work with. Once their ceremony was finished Allie, Brendan and their wedding parties headed outside for some portrait photos as Brix on the Fox was set up for their reception.

Wedding Portraits and Their Reception at Brix on the Fox

Believe it or not Brix on the Fox is just as beautiful outside as it is inside, so working with the outdoor brick façade for their wedding party portraits was a TON of fun. It also helped having Allie and Brendan’s wedding parties there as they were the best hype crew ! We headed to the nearby Fox River for some sunset couples portraits before making our way back to Brix on the Fox for their wedding reception. Decorated with string lights, chandeliers, and dried flowers their reception space was beautiful and the perfect space to dance the night away with all of their closest friends and family.

I am beyond obsessed with Allie and Brendan’s wedding at Brix on the Fox. They were able to create such an amazing day focusing on the things they love and celebrating their love for each other, and capturing these moments was a dream come true.
