Meet the Team: The Different Services and Wedding Vendors Offered at LAR Photography

As a newly engaged couple in the wedding planning world, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to book almost HALF of your wedding vendors at once? Now you can! As lead photographer and owner here at LAR Photography, I have been working hard behind the scenes to coordinate your one stop shop for all your Illinois and Wisconsin wedding services. And I am so excited to officially introduce you to my wonderful team!

Meet the LAR Wedding Team!

Jonny, Videographer 

Jonny is our amazing videographer.  He has been working with video since 2019 and spends a lot of time touring with bands and documenting their shows and the behind the scenes. He loves coffee, cats, and chess (is there even a better combination?). Jonny travels all over the U.S. and internationally for weekday work, but LOVES the wedding industry and cannot wait to document your best day ever!

Ashley, Our Planner

Ashley is our planner and day of coordinator.  She also spends the occasional weekday as a substitute teacher and has previously lived in China for 4 years teaching students overseas. She’s a fan of crocheting and reading, but also brings the MOST bubbly and fun personality to our team. We could not be more excited to have her!

Jared, Our Second Shooter and Associate

Jared is our second photographer and occasional associate photographer. Oh! Did I mention Jared is also married to me - Lauren! He may have only been working by my side since 2021, but he actually grew up around cameras, since his dad is a professional medical photographer. So he has tons of knowledge with capturing the best shots! Jared is also a high school teacher and loves reading and working on lesson plans at all hours of the day. Last but not least, Jared is also the best cat dad to our 2 absolutely adorable cats Lexi and Annie!

Lauren, Lead Photographer and Company Owner

And finally there’s me! I have been a professional photographer since 2019 and have photographed over 200 weddings. I am the perfect mix of a 2009 scene kid with your most fun grandma and a little hint of Little House on the Prairie vibes. At LAR Weddings we are LGBTQIA+ affirming and advocates for human rights always. And I absolutely want to capture your special day by perfectly executing my type A personality with a flexible approach!
