Carmen and Matthew's Chicago Greenhouse Wedding at Smit's Farm IL was nothing short of a romantic dream. I was able to work with Carmen and Matt for their engagement photos in May. About halfway through their engagement session Carmen and Matt took out a razor to shave Matt's Beard so they could get photos of both looks. When they proceeded to do this in a public alley in broad daylight I knew we would be a perfect fit for one another.
These two kept their wedding vendor team on the small side for their Chicagoland wedding. They had their caterer's, the venue, Smit's Farms, and myself as their wedding vendor team. The wedding day was a labor of love put together by family and friends. The bridesmaids helped each other with their hair and makeup. The decor was supplied by the venue or family and friends. Then the flowers were from LD Trading, but Carmen's cousin assembled all of the flowers into bouquets !

About Smit Farm's
Smits Farm's is a functional farm and greenhouse located in Chicago Heights Illinois. In December of 2015 the daughter of Smits Farms' Owner Debbie hosted her wedding in the greenhouse. Because their first wedding went so well, they've been hosting weddings and events ever since ! Smits Farms is a perfect location for 100-200 person weddings. With plenty of room for a dance floor, ceremony space and getting ready all at the same location, it really is a dream venue for any Chicago brides or grooms. There is nothing more romantic than a Greenhouse wedding.
